We take only 4 guests or less at a time at our cowboy school, to ensure a quality experience with lots of time for questions and answers. We believe there is no dumb question! True old time western customs and etiquette will be observed and explained. You will have the opportunity to learn time honored customs not taught elsewhere. If you have a sincere interest in cowboys and ranching and the heritage involved, consider us. We also can tailor a program to your specific needs. We are open year round due to our climate of four mild seasons. RATES AND RESERVATIONS Horseback Vacations Rates are $250.00 per person. This is a 2 day, 2 night stay, including activities, meals and lodging. We ask that you arrive by 9 a.m. to ensure plenty of time to ride. Check out time is 10 a.m. the day of departure. You are always welcome to stay longer, at a rate of $125.00 per additional day. DAY RIDES Rates are $75.00 per person with lunch included. We ask that you arrive by 9 a.m. Rides are offered in the spectacular Lincoln Forest and surrounding area. COWBOY SCHOOL Rates for the cowboy school are $300.00 per person. This is a 2 day, 2 night stay, including full instruction, meals, and overnight lodging. Most guests prefer to stay longer, to learn all they can. Additional days are $150.00 per person. LODGING We only take 4 guests at a time. Lodging is in the bunkhouse which consists of a sitting room, a bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The bunkhouse is thoroughly cleaned after each use and fresh linens are used for each guest. There is no daily maid service, however. PAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS We require a deposit of 50% with your reservation; the rest is due upon your arrival. We do not accept credit cards. In the event you must cancel, you may re-schedule for a later date at no additional charge. Otherwise, the deposit is non-refundable. We do not make refunds for early departures. While we hope this doesn’t become necessary, we also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We regret we do not allow guests to bring dogs.
